Volunteer at the Center

***UPDATE AS OF 3/27/12**** Current the Center is NOT accepting after school mentor applications. Sorry for the inconvience.

Without volunteers participating in our mission we would not be able to provide healing services. There are many ways to give your time to the Center for Survivors of Torture and War Trauma. We have volunteer opportunities doing office support, administrative projects like grant-writing, advocacy campaigns, or fund raising events, pro-bono therapeutic services for professionals, teaching different types of performing arts to our high school youth, and mentoring with our after-school program.  Please feel free to explore the rest of our website and to read our past newsletters to find out more about what we do and to give us a call or email if you have any questions.

We do ask our volunteers to fill out our volunteer application so that we can get to know a little bit about you and about your interests in working with us.

Those desiring to volunteer with youth services should make sure to be registered with the Missouri Family Care Safety Registry. You can check to see if you are registered by checking here. If you are not registered, you can register yourself online at the Missouri Family Care Safety Registry. There is a $10 on-line fee, or $9.00 if they process via mail.

**Please send all applications to elise@stlcenterforsurvivors.org
